Skandia Kollektiv is a Millcreek salon. We are at 4014 S Highland Dr, and this is the only location we have. Guests drive here from Park City, from Logan and occasionally from across the Idaho and Wyoming lines, which is a strange thing to say about a neighborhood salon, but the reason is the same for them as it is for you: the full color bar, the premium hand-tied hair inventory and the certified stylists are all in one building.

What Millcreek Guests Come For

Most Requested

NBR® Hand-Tied Extensions

Natural Beaded Row uses no tape, no glue and no heat. The wefts are sewn onto a beaded foundation, which is what lets them lie flat and grow out without damaging your own hair.

  • Certified NBR® stylists
  • Color and styling included in the install
  • Maintenance every six to ten weeks
Done The Same Day

Custom Color

Balayage, blonding, color correction and gray blending, matched to your base and your grow-out schedule. Because the color bar and the hair inventory share a building, your extensions are matched to your new color rather than the other way around.

  • Blonding and lived-in balayage
  • Color correction
  • Gray blending and coverage

The Blow Dry Bar

A proper blowout, booked on its own, without needing a colour service attached to it. Useful before an event, and the easiest way to see how the studio works before committing to extensions.

  • Book as a standalone service
  • Good first visit if you are undecided
  • Styling that holds

Starting Pricing

Extensions vary with length, how many rows you need and your current hair, so these are starting ranges rather than a flat rate. You get an exact quote during your phone consultation, before anything is booked.

  • One Row from $1,300
  • Two Rows from $2,000
  • Three Rows from $2,700
  • Maintenance from $450

Color

  • All Over Color $175+
  • Partial Color $285+
  • Full Color $385+
  • Included with every install

How the First Visit Works

Here is the whole sequence, so there are no surprises on the day.

01

Phone Consultation First

We talk through your hair, your goals and your budget before you book, and you get an exact quote. No guessing from a published range.

02

You Are Already Here

We are at 4014 S Highland Dr in Millcreek, with parking on site. For most of the neighborhood this is a short drive rather than a trip, which is worth knowing when you are booking an appointment that runs several hours.

03

One Longer Visit

A first install is a long appointment because color, placement and styling all happen in the same chair. We tell you the real number of hours in advance.

04

A Schedule That Fits

Maintenance runs every six to ten weeks depending on your rows and your growth. We book it around your calendar, not ours.

For Millcreek and the Surrounding Valley

A Millcreek Hair Salon Built Around Extensions and Color Together

Why the Address Matters More Than It Sounds

Most salons that offer hand-tied extensions order the hair in per client, which means your appointment is scheduled around a shipment and your color is designed around whatever arrived. Keeping a real inventory on the shelf changes the order of operations: your color is designed first, then the hair is chosen to match it, in the same visit. That is the practical difference between a salon that does extensions and a salon built around them.

What NBR® Actually Is

Natural Beaded Row is a hand-tied method. A row of beads forms a foundation and a weft of hair is sewn onto it. There is no tape, no glue and no heat anywhere in the process, which is why it is gentler than the methods it replaced. It lies flat enough to wear your hair up, it moves like your own hair because it is sewn rather than bonded, and it is adjusted at maintenance rather than removed and redone. Certification matters here, because placement and tension are what separate extensions that protect your hair from extensions that damage it.

Valley Water and Winter Inversion

Two things work against hair in this part of the valley, and both are seasonal rather than constant. Hard water leaves mineral deposits that dull blonde and make extensions feel coarse partway through a cycle. Winter inversion brings weeks of dry, static-heavy air that makes fine hair look flat and makes ends look worse than they are. Neither is solved by buying more product. Both are manageable with the right wash schedule and a realistic maintenance interval, which is a conversation we would rather have at the consultation.

Start With an Honest Number

Every guest starts with a phone consultation, and you get an exact quote and a real appointment length before you book. If you want to see the work first, our extension gallery is the unretouched version, and the NBR® extensions page covers the method in more detail.

Millcreek Guest Questions

Where is the salon?

4014 S Highland Dr in Millcreek, Salt Lake City, UT 84124. Parking is on site. This is our only location.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. We work by appointment, and extension guests start with a phone consultation so we can give you an exact quote and a real appointment length before you book.

Can I book just a blowout?

Yes. The blow dry bar can be booked on its own without a color service attached, which is also the easiest way to see how the studio works if you are still deciding about extensions.

How often do extensions need maintenance?

Every six to ten weeks depending on how many rows you have and how fast your hair grows. We give you a realistic interval at the consultation rather than a generic one.

Start With a Phone Consultation

Tell us about your hair, your goals and your budget and we will give you an exact quote and a realistic appointment length before anything is booked. The guest application gives us everything we need to come to that call prepared.
